Photography & Video Production

Through Arts We Rise (part of Justice Through Arts) is a London-based charity collaborating with artists to raise awareness of social issues faced by the city’s homeless and vulnerable communities.

In March 2020, I volunteered as the lead photographer for their public art installation in West Hampstead, where a team of graffiti artists, Ben Eine and Zabou, transformed a local bridge with artworks celebrating community heroes and encouraging conversations around homelessness.
Beyond capturing the event, I independently created an original animated video showcasing the artworks in progress. This experimental piece, combining photography and motion graphics, highlighted the artists’ creative process and brought the project to life.

Without a formal brief, I took the opportunity to explore new creative tools and approaches. The charity loved the work and featured it across their social media platforms, extending the project’s reach and impact.
This project allowed me to combine my passion for visual storytelling with a meaningful cause, while also pushing my creative boundaries through photography and animation.
