I use video to explore everything from storytelling and brand messaging to experimental motion design. My projects range from high-energy TikTok edits to long-form video essays, animations, and commercial social campaigns.

Some videos are personal experiments testing new formats, styles, and techniques, while others are crafted for businesses looking to engage audiences in dynamic ways. Across all my work, I focus on clarity, engagement, and refining my approach with every project.

Below, you’ll find a mix of my personal and commissioned video projects, each showcasing different aspects of my creative process, from research and scriptwriting to animation, editing, and sound design.
Why Do Onions Make You Cry?
Personal Video Project
This video is a test of concept for a TikTok series called Random Facts. The aim is a high energy infotainment video where I share knowledge on "random" topics and have fun editing.

Test audiences and TikTok analytics feedback proved the video needed a stronger hook and less chaotic animation. I am currently working on a new video for the series with a stronger through-line and a less intense editing style.

The video features my voice, research, script writing, royalty-free music and sound, editing, animation and video sourcing.

Please note the video was created for small screens and so less attention has been paid to visual resolution.

Captain Falcon: The Beginning
Personal Video Project
This video is an experiment into long form, researched and scripted video essays for YouTube audiences. The aim of the project was to see if I could put something together that fit the medium and could find an audience, while enjoying the process.

The video is a deep dive into niche Japanese videogame character "Captain Falcon", the people and culture behind his creation and legacy.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this video and the production process was highly educational. I would love to do something similar again taking what I have learned, namely I'd like to make it more personal and relaxed, making the video more accessible, and spend less time on animation to simplify the production timeline.

The video features my voice, research, script writing, royalty-free music and sound, editing, animation and video sourcing.

We Missed You
Video Project
We Missed You
Video Project
"We Missed You" is part of an Instagram campaign concept targeting SME owners opening up after lockdown in early 2021. The goal being to engage new business for broad social media marketing.

The video was primarily a showcase of short-form mobile optimised video editing, engaging users and embedding a message in under 20 seconds. The direct message being 'affordable social media advertising' and the indirect message being 'cross industry, engaging, exciting, fresh and high-production brand management'.
